Creating User Accounts on a Mac |

Click on the Apple icon in the upper left had corner of the screen and then click on System Preferences. The window below will open. |

To create a new user click on Accounts. |
|
When the window opens click on the plus sign to get the Create User window. |
|
Complete the boxes as you desire, do not check the allow user to administer this computer unless you want to give the user the right to change the settings. Click on Create Account when done. |

Once created you can select the new user and then go through and configure the parental controls. |

The mail configuration options let you control who the user can exchange email with. By sending yourself the permission emails you can control it as they come in. Simply hit the plus button and add their email address to the form. |

The Finder and System block allows you to control how much access and control each user has over the computer. To restrict their ability to change your limits you should not check the Open all System Preferences |

This block is where you can control who they can chat with when using AIM. Click the plus to add a screen name It doesn’t work if they are using another chat client software program. |
